Lady Gaga brought the Sound of Music and visions of girls in white dresses to the Oscars Sunday night.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the movie starring Julie Andrews, the newly engaged singer performed a lovely medley featuring fan favorites from the beloved musical, including "The Hills Are Alive," "Do Re Mi," "Edelweiss," and "Climb Ev'ry Mountain." She just keeps reinventing herself, doesn't she?
The pop star looked like a Disney princess in her second Azzedine Alaïa gown of the evening. And what a way to show off that heart-shaped Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring. You couldn't miss the bling!
Gaga, if you're reading this, puh-leeze model your wedding gown after this breathtaking number and not the one you wore on the red carpet. We're sure your hubby-to-be, Taylor Kinney, would appreciate it.

It appears as though Mother Monster was overwhelmed by her special performance. We all were. After she finished performing, the silver screen's original Maria von Trapp greeted her with a big hug. "Thank you for that beautiful performance," the 79-year-old Oscar winner said. "It really warmed my heart, it did!'
Later, Gaga was spotted backstage wiping away tears, and giving us another good look at that ring!

But once the feels calmed down, Gaga kicked up her feet and began to celebrate with a martini in hand!

UPDATE: Things took a dark yet equally stunning turn when Gaga attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party in her final Alaïa dress. Thankfully, those awful red gloves from earlier in the night were never seen again!
